This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Russian version at rinolens.ru/privacy/ is legally binding and prevails in case of any discrepancy.
1. Who we are
The data controller (“operator”) is Rino Lens Group of Companies LLC (OGRN 1217700274252, TIN 9706016591, 6 Tverskaya St., Moscow, Russia). Personal data is processed under Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”. Contact for privacy matters: info@rinolens.ru.
This policy covers the website rinolens.ru, including its English version and the video meeting page. Our product websites have their own privacy documents.
2. What we process and why

We do not process special categories of data or biometrics, make no decisions based solely on automated processing, and do not use your data for marketing emails.
3. Cookies and third-party services
The website uses no analytics or advertising cookies and no tracking counters; fonts and all files are served from our own server. The video meeting page uses one strictly necessary session cookie. Video calls on that page are provided by Jitsi Meet (meet.jit.si, operated by 8x8, Inc., USA): when you join a call, you voluntarily share your video, audio, display name and connection details with that service under its own terms. If you prefer not to use it, email us and we will suggest another way to talk.
4. Storage and sharing
Data is stored in databases located in the Russian Federation. We use Russian service providers only to the extent needed to run the website and email: hosting provider Beget LLC and email service VK LLC (Mail.ru for Business). We do not transfer your data to other third parties unless required by Russian law, and we do not transfer it across borders (subject to section 3). Data is destroyed within 30 days after the purpose is achieved, the retention period expires, or consent is withdrawn.
5. Your rights
You may request information about the processing of your data, ask us to correct, block or delete it, withdraw your consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with Roskomnadzor (the Russian data protection authority) or a court. Send requests to info@rinolens.ru. We reply within 10 business days (extendable by up to 5 business days with notice).
6. Consent given via the contact form
By ticking the consent box and submitting the contact form, you freely and in your own interest consent to Rino Lens Group of Companies LLC processing your name, email address, organisation (if provided), message text, date and time of submission and IP address for the purpose of handling your request and replying to it. Processing includes collection, recording, organisation, storage, updating, retrieval, use, blocking, deletion and destruction, with or without automation; data may be processed on our behalf by Beget LLC and VK LLC within this purpose and is stored in the Russian Federation. This consent is valid until the purpose is achieved, but no longer than 3 years after your last request, and may be withdrawn at any time by emailing info@rinolens.ru.
7. Security and changes
We apply legal, organisational and technical measures to protect personal data, including restricted access, HTTPS encryption, protected servers in Russia, backups and limited retention. We may update this policy; the new version takes effect when published on this page.
